I authorize Netrunner Repair LLC and its agents to perform work on my electronic device. I understand that Netrunner Repair LLC agents have been trained to perform work on electronic devices but Netrunner Repair LLC is not an authorized service dealer. Further, I agree to release, indemnify, and hold Netrunner Repair LLC from liability for any claims or damages of any kind or description that may arise from any work performed on my electronic device, unless it is caused by severe negligence of Netrunner Repair LLC. I understand that Netrunner Repair LLC is not responsible for any data loss, which may occur as a result of work done on my electronic device, including biometric lock software failure. I also understand that I have the option to, and I am responsible for backing up the device before allowing any work to be performed on my device in the event of any data loss and hardware or software failure.

 

I understand that devices from some manufacturers, namely Apple, contain serialized components that may or may not be repairable, as well as some components that, once repaired, may display a notification within operating system software notifying the user that the device has been repaired. Further, I understand due to manufacturer operating system programming and in rare circumstances, certain program functionality may be limited once serialized components are repaired or replaced.  I understand this occurs even with parts directly from Apple, as well as other manufacturers, and the notifications or affected functionality are in no way related to the workmanship of Netrunner Repair LLC agents or quality of parts provided by Netrunner Repair LLC. I understand that in rare circumstances serialized components may fail during typical repair procedures in no way related to the workmanship of Netrunner Repair LLC agents. In that event, I understand that the failed serialized components may or may not be repairable and that repair would require bypassing that serialization which may extend repair times.

 

I understand that if a device has been worked on by Netrunner Repair LLC, but the remaining balance for said work is not paid in full, Netrunner Repair LLC will make a reasonable attempt to return the device to me in a state as near to before any work was done as possible as deemed by Netrunner Repair LLC or its agents. I understand that after work has been done by Netrunner Repair LLC, Netrunner Repair LLC or its agents will attempt to contact me at least two times for pick up and Netrunner Repair LLC will give one final notice before taking possession of the device and placing it on hold for recycling. If Netrunner Repair LLC has not been notified of a later pick up date for my device or proper arrangements for picking my device up have not been agreed upon between myself and Netrunner Repair LLC or its agents within 45 days of my initial, agreed upon appointment date, my device previously placed on hold for recycling, will be recycled under the assumption of abandonment. Recycling will consist of a reasonable attempt to remove all personally identifiable information from my device and my device’s complete disassembly. I understand that once a device has been recycled, I will no longer be able to receive my device.

 

I understand that Netrunner Repair LLC agents will not browse through any personal, private or confidential information or data; however, agents may inadvertently see data during the course of their work. I understand that any confidential data should be removed from the device prior to having work performed on the device.

 

I understand that assemblies, repairs, or technical support performed by Netrunner Repair LLC may void manufacturer warranties, especially in the case of Apple device repairs. Netrunner Repair LLC does not assume any liability or warranty in the event that the manufacturer warranties are voided but may, at its sole discretion, offer its own warranty on the parts and/or services performed in so far as clearly stated on the website netrunner.repair/pages/warranty

 

I understand that passcodes, passwords, or other screen lock information may be necessary to test my electronic device’s functionality before, during, and after work has been done on my device. I further understand that If no passcodes, passwords, or other screen lock information is provided, or the incorrect information is provided it will be my responsibility to check my device’s functionality before the device is left with us and after the repair. I understand that if Netrunner Repair LLC or its agents are unable to test my device’s functionality due to lack of or incorrect necessary passcodes, passwords, or other screen lock information, then Netrunner Repair LLC reserves the right to provide its own warranty at its sole discretion as described above.


I understand this waiver may be subject to change without my prior or subsequent notice. I understand the most current version of this waiver can be viewed on this page (https://netrunner.repair/pages/repair-waiver) at any time. I understand Netrunner Repair LLC reserves the right to update, change or replace any part of this waiver by posting updates and/or changes to the website netrunner.repair.
